Therapy / Counselling
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Interpersonal Relationship Therapy (IPT), can be extremely helpful and help you to recover from depression much sooner.
If your doctor has referred you to a psychiatrist, check that they are able to provide therapy or practical counseling, as some psychiatrists may not offer all of these services.
If there are any other forms of therapy you are interested in trying, ask your doctor about them too, as different therapies may be more or less appropriate for you.
