When depression is severe, the thought of escaping
and being free from symptoms can be appealing.
Your mind may turn to suicide.
At these times it is really important to remember
that it is most likely you are feeling this way
because your depression is so bad, rather than
because your life is bad.
If you are having suicidal thoughts, you must
see your doctor, a psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist
or other counsellor you can trust.
Keep trying and don't give up. Help is available.
You will get better; it is just a matter of finding
the treatment that is right for you.
